Catching up and looking back

Two Silver Trees by Calexico

Gobbledigook by Sigur Rós

On A Neck, On a Spit by Grizzly Bear

Stay Where You Are by Ambulance LTD. Ambulance LTD. are really solid. I love their first album, this is more of a jam track but it was the only one I could find that link worked well. All in all check them out in depth. I think people will kick themselves in the face years in the future for overlooking these guys

California Dreamer by Wolf Parade

Drugs in My Body by Thieves Like Us Once again I was extremely lucky to stumble upon these dudes  junior year on myspace. Its nice to see they are getting some attention.

That\’s Entertainment by The Jam

This is pretty cool its on vinyl: Damaged Goods by Gang of Four

To Protect & Entertain (Feat. Murs) by Busy P

In all honesty this is rubbish: Bats Over The Pacific Ocean by Jaguar Love

Half A Person by Welcome Wagon

What reminds me of Benji Hughes: We\’re From Barcelona by I\’m From Barcelona

Heart It Races by Architecture In Helsinki

Look up The Same Old Innocence by Architecture In Helsinki…I love to get down on the dance floor to that one.

See a Penny by YACHT

No Longer Reminds me of Benji Hughes…Icy Demons: way to go Chicago’s finest psychedelicsomething experimental rock band starring the best drummer ever from Man Man

Miami Ice by Icy Deamons

Man Man newish album “Rabbit Habbits” may be my favorite for the whole year so they deserve three songs off the album

Big Trouble by Man Man

The Ballad Of Butter Beans by Man Man

Top Drawer by Man Man

Definitely on the top 5 best of the year…Saw them live at Lolla this summer. The surprised me, the show was stunning. They are such a powerful force live, wouldn’t of thought so. Everything just fits perfectly, elements that make no sense in any-other context just work here so well, such a sweet blend.
